Protect My Baby This is actually a testimony and a prayer request. I'm not sure if you remember me, but my name is Iman. I wrote you about a month or two ago requesting prayer for a situation I was going through. Just to refresh your memory, I found out that I was pregnant in February, and when the father of my unborn child found out, he began being very hateful toward me and basically told me that he didn't want anything to do with me or the baby. Not only did he deny me and my child, but he also threatened to kill me and her if I didn't get an abortion. This went on for months. So I wrote you asking for prayer that God would change his heart. On Saturday, May 7th, I received a phone call from a mutual friend telling me that the father of my child wanted to talk to me. The first thing I thought was that he was going to threaten me or cause an argument. But when I went outside to talk to him, he told me in so many words that he was going to be there to support me and the baby the best he could. He even began picking names for the baby! I was in total shock! And that just goes to show that when things seem impossible, God can make it possible. And I just give God the glory because I know it was Him that turned things around. And I'd just like to thank you for your prayers because it truly means a lot to me, and I thank God that there are people like you out there willing to take time to pray for me when you hardly even know me or have seen my face. That's love, and words can't express how thankful I am. As far as my prayer request, I just ask that you all pray for me and the baby once again. I have to go to get some blood work done for me and the baby today. So just pray that God will give me and the baby favor and that all the tests performed will come back good. I also ask that you continue to pray for my child's father and his salvation. Thank you, and I love you!
