From: Rev. Robert, Ohio

Dear Ferd,

Reread your sermon and shared it with Gloria, we both were deeply touched by the message God gave to you. You have truly found the secret to giving a meaningful message. Three important things in a great message: 1. God delivers and we listen, 2. we step forth and deliver that which He has given and 3rd we are not afraid to stand up and share with others the wonderful things He has given to us. I would like to share the following thoughts with you.

Dr. Albert Schweitzer said it so well, "Sometimes our light goes out but it is blown into flame by another human being. Each of us owes deepest thanks to those who have rekindled this light."

So the question becomes who rekindles your light? Who blows your light into flame when it threatens to flicker out? Sometimes this person is a relative, sometimes a teacher, or a minister, or a SPECIAL FRIEND. If you need the light of your spirit rekindled during the bleak times, there are those who will listen and care.

Likewise, a great and wonderful gift you can give is to fan into flame the spirit that is in another. Rekindling someone's flame is an important task we perform for few of us can go it alone.

The greatest weapon against darkness is, and always has been light. Even one small light is stronger than the darkness.

Surely God has instilled in you, His servant, the ability to fan the flame in others that might be flickering. He has given you the gift that is greater than all other gifts. The gift of compassion and love. The great gift of being able to raise others up and come to know the power of the Holy Spirit. I thank God for the day you came into my life. There was a time of great need and there on my computer was Thank you for being my friend and my brother in Christ Jesus.

May God continue His blessing upon you and Beverly.

This is the way that Jesus says thank you ... Ferd@2jesus
