Hi, this is Ferd. I want to tell you that you can't get ahead of God. He always does you one better. Give God a dollar and He will give you ten. Help an old lady across the street and someone will come over and want to clean your house. What I'm saying is if you are doing God's work He will be sure you are paid back.
I got a prayer request from a young lady last week, Natalie. Her mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She was quite worried about her. She was dropping out of collage to get back home to help her. I told her to copy the sections on Healing, Faith and Doubt from the site and give them to her mother and if she needed help with it get back to me. Also I said if it would help her mother I would call her. I also said I was on the West Coast of Florida where was she? I felt all through this that God was trying to tell me something. That He had sent this person and that if I could I should go there.
My screen lit up with the response from Natalie. I am in Gainesville and my mom lives on the West Coast of Florida also. I checked and she lived 25 miles from my house. So we set up a meeting for the next Sunday after Church.
I arrived and met a wonderful family. A mother, Susan, with two daughters filled full of love and concern for their mother. They had also invited a married couple from their Church. We said hello and went right to work going over the Word. Explaining how God wants us healed. And how He wants us to do it. We had a great time in the Lord. Everyone was in agreement. Everyone was full of the love that only Christians can share.
We anointed Susan with oil and laid hands on her and prayed. We cursed the cancer and accepted what God has so generously given us. His Divine Healing. All through the afternoon I felt the presence of the Lord. His Spirit was coming out of everyone there. It was a wonderful experience for me because to see God in action is just as good as it gets.
I went home and had a wonderful afternoon and great night. Three days later I got up and went on my walk where I usually do my praying. But not this morning. All I could do was praise. I was happy with the Lord. I was shouting Hallelujah's and singing in the Spirit. It was just a wonderful time with the Lord. When I got back I had an e-mail waiting for me. This following e-mail is not meant to be bragging on me, because I do nothing it is the Jesus that does all of the work. It is to show you one of the ways God uses to show His love.
I thank God that He lets me be apart of His work. It is such a privilege and a joy. And the pay backs are heavenly. Thank you Jesus.
